Sage Resort- Luxury Condo HotelOrlando, FL (2006) As Estimator, prepared a preliminary proposal based on 50% design documents.  This luxury condo-hotel resort was estimated to cost between $75 to 90M.  The range in the estimate was due to the stage of the documents and lacking of interior design drawings.  The estimate was based on a mix of historical costs and actual bid estimates.  It was a 10 story (9 over 1 story parking garage) containing 550,000 SF.  There were 260 2,3 and 4 bedroom units ranging from 1,100 to 2,500 SF.  The ninth and tenth floors contained 2-story penthouse units.  Additional amenities included a clubhouse, spa, fitness center, restaurants, pools with cabanas and tiki bars and retail.

La Terra Lifestyle Center at World of Golf – Flagler County, FL (2006) Estimator  For a repeat client and on a project where 4-Plex condos were concurrently being constructed, a 7,200 clubhouse, pool and full amenities was estimated at $1.3M.  Construction consisted of high end finishes, CMU, stucco with decorative foam shapes and tile roofing.

Cascades at Groveland – Clubhouse and Amenities – Groveland, FL (2005) Estimator  As the centerpiece of an emerging 1,000 + planned single family home subdivision for the nationwide home builder, Levitt and Sons, this upscale clubhouse and amenity center totaled 49,000 SF.  Water features included interconnected indoor and outdoor pools, fountain and spas.  Additional amenity buildings totaled 13,000 SF including a cabana bath, tennis center, fitness center and pool enclosure.  Site work featured entrance walls with built in trellis and pavilions, paver roadway and a 2-story guardhouse.  Sports features included tennis and bocce courts .  The total cost of the project was $10.7M.  Mr. Collier participated in the original proposal as well as many variations of estimates per owner requests.

Silver Lake Resort Building 1000 – Kissimmee, FL (2005) Estimator Based on 100% documents, Mr. Collier prepared an estimate for an additional 32 unit timeshare building within the existing Silver Lake Resort.  The building was comprised of a mix of  2 bedroom / 2 bath and 3 bedroom / 3 baths.  The building structure was a $5.1M, 4-story, 58,000 SF, with CMU, hollowcore and stucco exterior.  One elevator and a stairwell at each end served the ingress and egress.  A concrete tiled mansard roof concealed the roof top split system condensing units.  Extensive on-site research on the existing buildings and interiors was done in preparation of the bid.

Portico Amenity Center – Ft Myers, FL (2005) Assistant EstimatorMr. Collier helped the senior estimator prepare a preliminary budget from 70% drawings.  Many of the bid items were not detailed and based on historical costs.  The project was a 19,000 upscale clubhouse and amenities within a Taylor Morrison single family subdivision.

Villas of Grand Cypress Golf Resort –  Orlando, FL (2004) Assistant EstimatorPrepared an estimate for upgrades to the villa entrances as a well as the community pool serving these vacation rentals.
